Ironworker Job in Marseilles, Illinois – $120Day Per Diem + Long-Term Opportunity

JGM is currently seeking a qualified Ironworker for an ongoing construction project located in Marseilles, Illinois. This position offers competitive pay, steady hours, and the opportunity to roll directly into another project after completion.

📋 Job Details

Location: Marseilles, Illinois
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Project Duration: Approximately 2 months (will roll into another project)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Per Diem: $120/day (work 6 days, paid for 7 days)
Pay Rate: Based on experience

🔧 Responsibilities

Assemble and install structural steel components and metal frameworks.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform cutting, welding, rigging, and bolting as needed.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the job site.

🎯 Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ironworker.
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and fall protection.
Reliable transportation and ability to work full schedule.
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
