💲 Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $50 per hour
- Per Diem: $120 per day
- Project Duration: Approximately 2 years

🧰 Experience Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of commercial or naval welding experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test
- Must pass a background check
⚙️ Weld Testing Information
- Stainless Steel .038 thin wall sockets – 4F & 5F positions
- Copper Nickel .038 thin wall sockets – 4F & 5F positions
- Carbon Steel .038 thin wall sockets – 4F & 5F positions
- 6G Carbon Steel 3/8” thick wall pipe with backing ring
- 6G Stainless Steel 3/8” thick wall pipe with backing ring
- 6G Copper Nickel 3/8” thick wall pipe with backing ring
📋 Important Notes
- You are allowed two tries within a 16-hour (2-shift) timeframe to produce one acceptable socket weld.
- If both attempts fail the visual inspection, the candidate will be released.
- All welding is performed using GTAW (TIG).
- Testing booths have restricted access, with setups within 6” of the booth wall.
- Socket welds are visual inspection only.
- Pipe welds are x-ray tested.
- Two failures in any one process (sockets or thick wall) will result in disqualification.
